We are looking for Child and Youth Care Workers to fill vacancies at each one of the satellite houses of Abraham Kriel Bambanani in Mouton (based in Linden) and Kempton East (based in Pomona Kempton Park). These are live-in positions and main duties include the care and protection of 10 girls or boys between ages 6 – 18 years.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be older than 26 and younger than 60 years.
- Minimum of NQF level 4/5 training certificate as a Child and Youth Care Worker preferably and registered with SACSSP.
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Mathematical literacy as subject if you do not have the Child and Youth Care Worker qualifications. Must be willing to receive training as an Auxiliary Child and Youth Care Worker while working.
- Three traceable and reliable references.
- Experience in working with children.
- Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience and must be able to qualify for a PDP license.
